About Us
Stack'd Outdoors is a small outfitter located in central Oklahoma. Owner and head guide Gabe Richison started Stack'd outdoors in 2016 and it has been successful in making sure clients leave with a smile on their face ever since! In October of 2018 Stack'd Outdoors completed their lodge, a renovated old farm house near Cashion, Oklahoma. Stack'd is not your typical outfitter, we dont do the 20 hunter, 2 groups in the lodge, hunt the same blind every day nonsense that most of our competitors do. We hunt one small group of 4-6 hunters per day, and the whole trip is 100% private and all about your group. You will be the only guest in the lodge and the only clients on the hunt! We dont do this for the money, We do this because we love getting to hunt with people all over the United States while sharing stories and making memories that will last a life time. The Hunt.
We pride ourselves in making sure that you get to achieve the main goal of your trip, which is almost certainly to kill birds! While we understand that the entire experience has to be spot on, we also understand that you want to have fist fulls of ducks when its it's time to head back to the lodge, and when it comes to putting ducks in front of your face... we are pretty damn good at it. So good in fact, that if you dont kill a duck, you dont pay us a dime past the deposit for the day. We know this is a crazy promise, but we also understand that you worked hard doing your job to make the money to pay for this hunt, so we should have to work just as hard to earn it from you. Like I said before, we dont hunt the same spot every day, we have access to well over 20,000 acres of ponds, fields, and sheetwater. We mostly hunt out of Avian A-frames, but we do have a few permanent blinds and such. We also have an awesome young dog named kite to retrieve your kills. From December 14th- January 20th Kite retrieved 331 ducks, so if you are someone who loves watching a good dog work, we have that part covered too! All you need to bring when hunting with Stack'd Outdoors is a gun, ammo, and waterproof boots, we can handle the rest for you! From first time duck hunters to 70 year-old sharp shooting retired guides (Rick) we can promise to give you an awesome experience that you wont soon forget!
The Lodge
Stack'd Outdoors lodge is an awesome place to relax after a good morning of duck hunting! The original room of the house was built in the late 1800s and served as a wagon stop along a wagon trail that sprouted off of the chisolm trail. The rest of the house was constructed from the 1940s-2004. In 2018 we completely redid this old icon. We started with a new roof, new siding, a fresh interior paintjob, a brand new kitchen, and all new cedar trim. The lodge comfortably sleeps 10 and is equipped with 3 TVs, 5 couches, a huge dining room table, and a pool table. The lodge also has a total of 24 incredible duck mounts created by Vance Montgomery of Vanmar taxidermy. And dont worry, The guides will do their best to keep you entertained your entire stay!
